I stayed at City Backpackers for a week while exploring the CBD. The location was great, close to everything I needed. They offered free activities like cheese and wine nights, pancakes, and family dinners. The toilets were cleaned daily, and the price was affordable. The atmosphere was sociable, and I enjoyed meeting other guests. it was a comfortable stay for someone looking for a budget-friendly option with basic amenities.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

my recent stay at a backpackers in melbourne exceeded my expectations. the location was outstanding, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, and i appreciated the ability to store and cook my own food in the well-equipped kitchen. the laundry facilities were also a plus.
One power socket in the dorms was a bit inconvenient.

Great location, just a short walk to the supermarket, train station, and city center. The free breakfast, including delicious pancakes on Sundays, was a real treat. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and the free wifi and computers were a nice bonus. Despite some cleanliness issues and a lack of charging plugs, the hostel mostly ticked all the boxes. I'd recommend this hostel for its convenient location and enjoyable breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I was thoroughly impressed. First of all, the location is perfect - right in the heart of the city and just a short walk away from the train station. It made exploring Melbourne a breeze! Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Additionally, the basic amenities provided in the rooms were great, including a TV that played 24-hour music video-clips, which added a nice touch to my stay. Lastly, I must mention the breakfast that was included in the price. It was a fantastic way to start the day and really added value to my stay.
Everything was just fine, no complaints at all.

The air conditioning worked well and the bedding was cozy. The communal spaces, although small, were largely respectful and I appreciated the convenience of having breakfast included, even if it was a simple spread of bread and cereals. For someone looking for a place to sleep, shower, and go, it served its purpose.

For my Christmas stay, two complementary facts were offered which was nice. The location was great, just a short walk to transportation and dining options. The best aspect was being able to meet other travelers from all around the world.
The cleanliness was extremely poor. The bathrooms were filthy and did not provide even basic amenities like liquid soap.
